What are the IHC Telecom Art Awards?

The IHC Telecom Art Awards were established in 2004 to encourage and recognise creativity from New Zealanders with an intellectual disability. Over the years it has become an important event, with over 530 people entering in 2010.

The 30 finalists have been selected and are available to view online now. Check out the artistic talent from around the country and bid on your favourite artwork.

Prizes and awards presentation

The Art Awards will be presented at a function in Wellington in September 2010.

1st

place winner receives $5000

2nd

place winner receives $2000

3rd

place equal (two winners) receive $1000 each


National art exhibition

A national exhibition of the 30 finalist artworks will take place at St James Theatre Gallery, Wellington from 14 - 21 September 2010.
